About Vancouver Council PTA
Incorporated on November 15, 1978, the Vancouver Council Parent Teacher Association, known as Vancouver Council PTA 3.7 is part of the largest non-profit, volunteer organization in Washington State. As a premier parent organization, with over 100,000 members in more than 875 local PTAs, the association is part of an innovative, forward-thinking, and effective advocate for all children.
This council serves the PTA and PTSA local units and the children of the Vancouver School District. Membership in this council belongs to the members of PTA/PTSA local units within the Vancouver School District. Other local units not affiliated with a council may become members by mutual agreement with this council upon permission of WSPTA.

Vancouver Council PTA 3.7
is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves all children without regard to physical location of school attendance. It was chartered by the Washington State PTA in October, 1980. This PTA is registered with the WA Secretary of State under the Charitable Solicitations Act.
•To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship
•To raise the standards of home life
•To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
•To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the training of the child
•To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education
•To receive gifts, endowments, devises and bequests which will be used to carry out the purposes and objectives of this corporation
•To carry on any activities necessary to carry out the objectives and purposes of this corporation
