2021-22 Theme:    I Will Change the World By

Calling all student artists from elementary to high school!   We know we have talented VPS students!    This is also a great time to be a Reflections Chair since ALL submissions will be virtual this year! 

A new state electronic submission system will be announced in early fall.  This new system will be for Reflections submissions to state, as well as all other WSPTA programs submission (Essay contest, Game Competition, scholarships etc.).  

WSPTA Reflections will offer 6 Categories which include Dance choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts (2D and 3D).  

For each Category there are 5 Divisions:  

  • Primary: Grades prek-2  
  • Intermediate: Grades 3-5  
  • Middle School: Grades 6-8  
  • High School: Grades 9-12 
  • Special Artist-for students with disabilities   
    • NEW THIS YEAR-2 grade divisions will be offered for Special Artist.
      Special Artist Elementary: Grades preK-5  
      Special Artist Secondary: Grades 6-12  

The Reflections Program is a National PTA and WSPTA cultural arts competition. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by

 Theme Search, Art Contest Rules, and Student Entry Forms:

National PTA is seeking a theme for the 2023-2024 Reflections program year. The student who submits the winning entry will receive $100 and his or her theme will be presented at the annual National PTA Convention in June 2022. Repeat themes will not be considered.

The National PTA special artist division is an option for students with a disability as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA). Generally, rules and guidelines within the special artists division are intended to ensure accessibility to the National PTA Reflections® program and are modeled after the guidelines outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
